Rebecca Elizabeth Young is an Associate Psychotherapist at Psychotherapy International, where she is an associate of Dr Alain Youell.
Her practice is built on the belief that human development is an active, creative journey toward “limitless possibility.”
While she shares Dr Youell’s commitment to fostering awareness and growth, Rebecca brings a focus to the internal landscapes of meaning, purpose, and cognitive and behavioural patterns.
Rebecca believes that sustainable development is best anchored in a clear sense of purpose. She supports clients who feel “stuck” or are navigating complex life transitions, helping them move from an inactive state of being to a more intentional and creative way of living.
Rebecca completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy (2004) at Birkbeck, University of London, and a Diploma in Family and Relationship Counselling (1999) at Tavistock Relationships.
She also speaks fluent French, German, and Spanish, enabling her to work with an international and multilingual client base.
